 Casting

Once we had our plan for the music video and we got the green light from Mike and Luke, we needed to start casting people. We needed to find out what we wanted, who we wanted and why we wanted them. Here is a transcript of what and who we need for our music video.

What we need

o Main singer girl – dark features

o 2 models – blonde hair look similar- looking like a barbie

o 4 dancers – wont be seen so no particular look. Need to do contemporary ballet

o Male lead - saying “Disco Barbie”, blonde hair, ken like

o Barbie looking girl

 Why we need them

These specific attributes that we want from our cast is necessary because as the song is called disco barbie we want to create a barbie look aesthetic. The main singer is supposed to look different but at the beginning is trying to fit in with the other “barbies”. During the middle of the song she will rip off her wig and will stop trying to fit in with all the other barbies.
