Set and Lighting Design Feedback

Whilst showing our set and lighting designs plan to Dave and the teachers, we were given constructive feedback and what would work and could be easily set up. Whilst or presentation I made notes on the feedback on each set so we know what works and how we will do it.

Here is a transcript of the notes that were made during the feedback.

Screen set

 you can put a light behind each screen

The lights can change

We need space behind 

The closer the dancers come to the light the bigger they go

Girls all together could spill over

Using profile lights to define the edges

Multiple screens then one screen

Shadow set

Two tone lighting

Can hang curtains from the ceiling 

It is possible to get the shadows

You can see model as she is lit by the light to create the shadow

We could light her separately

We could back light her

Film that set last. Might not be in video

Pink room

Won’t be able to hire pink barbie chair 

Could use abs inflatable pink chair

Or beanbags

Two that match and one separate 

White walls with pink light on the walls and blue light could work

Empty part room

white floor, lit pink

We would have to buy the sofa if it’s pink

Empty party and pink room will be the same set
