What is a campaign?

A campaign is a series of actions and activities that are coordinate in order promote something or acheive a set of goals.

Promotional Campaign

There are several forms of campaigns. However I will be looking at a promotional campign.

A promotional campaign consists of a series of advertisements along with a various amount of marketing tools in order share a message and ideas to promote a business or event to target an audience.

Film companies set up campaigns to promote their film. Most of these campaigns will include that they make or use to create this campaign are trailers, using social media, series of interviews billboards , cross media convergence and synergy (product or brand deals), premiers , rewards and critic reviews.

Music Campaigns

More Specifically I will be looking at music campaigns and certain ways that they use their campaign to promote their music.

In order to create a music campaign there needs to be a series of actions and elements. These inlcude, video content, music videos, BTS of the music videos, live appearances (festivals, radio shows, videos on social media,etc), album artwork, a website, etc.

The music label will aim to get a lot of streams on youtube and music platforms, e.g., spotify and apple music in order to raise revenues.
